FRIDAY PRACTICE CELEBRATE || What small win from everyday life can you celebrate today?
Celebrating as a practice is as simple as naming and honoring an accomplishment (your own or someone else’s), something that evokes joy, or progress toward a desired outcome or reality. Celebrating gives us time to savor the goodness of something so it imprints on the brain.
This week I want us to celebrate small wins that we might consider too small to note. But here’s the thing–sometimes the small wins actually have a big impact on our mood, frame of mind, or mental load.
Here are a few of mine:
–Yesterday (Feb. 9) I finally returned our shriveled Christmas tree to @KruegersChristmasTreeFarm for recycling.
–I got the car cleaned inside and out.
–I cooked dinner when I really didn’t want to.
