180 | Who is helping you learn and grow?

WHO IS HELPING YOU LEARN AND GROW?  || The past week has been quiet as I have been following doctor’s orders for rest and recovery following my long-awaited sinus surgery. The quiet and slow pace has given me space to think in some fresh ways about how I want to use my time and energy as I actively move into a season of greater physical health. I’m thinking about this question from the perspective of a business owner and entrepreneur and in terms of our family life.

One of the people guiding me in this process is @emilyperron. Emily is a new friend and colleague that I met through a speaking cohort I joined in January. Emily is also a productivity coach for creatives. One of the tools Emily created is this free Zone of Genius Workbook that I’m using to get clarity about what is mine to hold and do and what I can/need to release to free up time and energy for what is mine. Ah–clarity is a generous gift that keeps giving!

🌱Who (besides me–hopefully!) is helping you learn and grow in this season?

Besides Emily, here are a few of the people who are helping me learn and grow in this season:

@sallyz_bemoved and the wise, wonderful, and talented change agents in my Mover’s Lab cohort

@dawntrautman who coaches people who are doing good in the world but need to do it differently so it is sustainable. She has a gift for creating nuggets of wisdom in video form that pair unexpected topics and result in fresh and freeing perspectives.

From afar, Tricia Hersey of @thenapministry is necessarily relentless in declaring that rest and recovery cannot be solely for the wellbeing of us as individuals. Her voice continues to center me in the ways rest is an essential and radical part of creating a world more aligned with God’s vision of justice.

Next week is the Choice Summit and I can’t wait! @heatherdixonadams her team are deeply committed to equipping women to link arms and support one another in living out our gifts in a way that serves and uplifts.

👇Tag your people in the comments to celebrate their impact in your life (and so we can all be inspired)!
