002 | Defining Sanctuary
For a lot of us, 2020 has felt like a dumpster fire. Now, a few days from the election, with Covid surging and winter coming (for people in my neck of the woods), we need to create sacred space for renewal more than ever if we are going to engage in the world from a place of hope and possibility.
These are definitions of sanctuary that speak to me:
—a space set apart
—a sacred or holy place
—a place of refuge and protection
—a small safe place in a troubling world
—a space for renewal.
