It’s Friday night and we have a family date! It was Miss T’s idea because she was tired of her parents going on dates without her. She also wanted to wear the dress from her brother’s wedding to mark the occasion as special, so we all got a little fancy. In a mini “yes day” move, I even said yes to her wearing some sparkly eye shadow and lip gloss because she still likes to be like Mommy. ⁣

⁣Even though we’ve been together as a family so much through the pandemic, its easy to fall into a rut and forget to how fun it is to do something special with each other just because. ⁣

⁣Intentional time together is definitely a core infrastructure practice that I need and want to tend more regularly.⁣
